RFID is a Radio Frequency Identification technology in English (Radio Frequency Identification), Radio Frequency Identification technology is in the 1990 s began a kind of automatic Identification technology, RFID technology is a use of rf signal through space coupling (alternating magnetic field or electromagnetic field) and transmit information through non-contacting's message to achieve recognition technology. 

The working principle of RFID is: the Tag into the magnetic field, if received special radio frequency signal from the reader, can rely on energy gained by the induced current send product information stored in the chip (namely the Passive Tag, Passive tags or Passive tags), or take the initiative to send a frequency signal (namely Active Tag, Active tags or Active tags), reader information and decoding, sent to the central information system on data processing. 

The development of rfid technology can be divided into the following ten years:

After 2000, the problem of standardization became more and more important, the variety of rfid products became richer, active electronic tags, passive electronic tags and semi-passive electronic tags were developed, the cost of electronic tags kept falling, and the scale application industry expanded.

So far, the theory of rfid technology has been enriched and perfected.Single chip electronic tags, multi-electronic tag reading, wireless readability and writing, remote identification of passive electronic tags, and rfid technology and products adapted to high-speed moving objects are becoming a reality and going towards application.
